It is aromatic rather than sharp — bright, clean, and energetic. The acidity carries a sparkling clarity, reminiscent of lemon curd whipped to a silky smooth texture rather than raw citrus juice. This luminosity immediately awakens the palate. Beneath this radiant citrus layer lies a structured chocolate foundation. Not heavy cocoa, but refined dark chocolate — subtly bitter, slightly sweet, and elegantly dry. The chocolate note acts as an anchor, preventing the lemon from feeling thin or aggressive. Instead, the two elements interlock with intention. As the cup evolves, the interplay becomes more confection-like. The sensation begins to resemble a warm lemon madeleine studded with dark chocolate chips — soft crumb, gentle sweetness, and bright citrus oils releasing into the air.
